In 2015, Carolin, a mother of two, was inspired to create waschies after struggling with her daughter’s sensitive skin issues caused by traditional wet wipes. She developed a hypoallergenic, reusable wash pad with the help of a local weaving mill, launching the waschies brand. In 2017, waschies expanded into makeup removal products and gained recognition through an appearance on the TV show “Die Höhle der Löwen,” where Carolin secured an investment from Ralf Dümmel. The brand quickly grew, selling over 2 million units in 2018 and supporting charitable causes like the Robin Aid Foundation. At the end of 2023, we decided to buy back the shares from our investor. Today, waschies continues to innovate, aiming to make the world more sustainable through eco-friendly skincare solutions.
